About us

Norwegian Maritime Exporters – making waves worldwide

Since 1995, Norwegian Maritime Exporters (NME) has served as a vital link between Norwegian maritime companies and the global markets. We are owned by our members and work globally to promote our members and the Norwegian maritime industry.

Together we are stronger

We organize the Norwegian pavilions at major global and domestic industry exhibitions where our members can market their products and services to international decision-makers under the Norwegian flag of excellence.

In addition, we arrange ERFAringskonferansen (the experience sharing conference) annually as well as co-ordinate with associated industry bodies in the interest of our members. We also offer member benefits within different areas.

Spoiler alert: The Minister of Trade and Industry, Iselin Nybø, has apparently shared some of the government’s new measures with Teknisk Ukeblad. The article will be posted tomorrow. Nybø tipped us about this during an e-meeting hosted by Maritimt Forum today. She also commented on the COVID-19 situation and the fall in the oil prices. Five executives from the Maritime Industry were present during the meeting. They spoke about the challenges they are facing directly to the Minister. Thank you for hosting the meeting Maritimt Forum and thank you to Even Aas, Gunvor Ulstein, Jan Fredrik Meling and Siri-Anne Mjåtvedt for sharing the challenges our industry is facing!
